@Mycha31 Have you tried it? ? Numerous athletes at various levels utilize CF in & out of season for training. Don’t knock it due to its recent commercialism and give it a try.


I see nothing wrong with people getting excited about working out and pushing themselves. Crossfit may have its downfalls, but when it comes down to it most “crossfiters” are people who have decided to push? themselves to their own limits and come out on the other side feeling successful and more confident. Just got a response from some loser telling me that “if you did a 2 minute fran, you’d feel like a badass too”. No, sorry, doing pullups and pushing a barbell up and? down doesn’t make me feel like a badass. And for one to think so, you have to wonder how little they have accomplished in their lives to think that way. Been on several combat deployments and dodged bombs and bullets and I don’t feel like a badass…. I just feel lucky to be alive.

@3gulo3 No, the “coaches” go through a day and half seminar…. And to think, I’ve wasted my time over the? past 8 years training in Muay Thai, Strongman, and Crosstraining (Which what CF really is, a regurgitation of every other olympic event)

@softball77100 Son, I’ve been training in CF, Muay Thai, and Strongman for years, not to? mention Marine Corps PT. There are plenty of good exercise programs out there that cost far less and are just as effective. Just because some people don’t do CF doesn’t mean they’re lazy.

I think? anything that can help anyone get into better shape or motivate and/orinspire them to try to work out or even just move around is good..I like it.

@3gulo3 not all crossfits are 250 dollars and its worth it.. and maybe you should stop making excuses for not going just because your lazy. im 16 and i do it. just remember that if a 16 year old can go, you can go?


@mycha31 i do sports too. and i crossfit too. crossfit is just a way to exercise good, instead? of going to a 24 hour fitness to lift a few weights, go talk to people all the time, and then go into the poolvto relax

@Mycha31 ur totally right, CrossFit is just a brand name, plus the workouts are so random they? dont make sense, lol for example a random workout can be 2 rounds of jacking off for time haha

@USMCR It is what it is, a borrowing of everything from gymnastics to olympic lifting and giving it a catchy name while a whole horde of idiots thinking they’re bad asses because they can do a? 2 minute “Fran”.


@3gulo3 Took their month long elements course when CF first hit NYC. Then been incorporating CF with my Muay Thai and Strongman training. It’s a decent set of exercises if you just want to get into general decent shape. But you’re right, been doing this for years while some idiot with barely day and half seminar is somehow a certified coach. And paying some gym/often locker sized? room 200+ bucks a month to do WODs you can get off their site or make up on your own is ludicrous.

@3gulo3 I’m a QUALIFIED CrossFit instructor (not only CrossFit qual’s, but university Sports Science and more…). I’m not rich, and I only pay $40 a month to train. Yes, I am white, is it a crime? i’ve never had a spasm, or used a pvc pipe. i’ve never had a seizure or vomitted at training. (So now you’re thinking I’m not fit, and don’t train hard enough.) I use CrossFit as cross-training for speedskating. i’m world Masters Champion in marathon distance. CrossFit works fine? for me.
